Ellie's first day of SuperKids

Last week Ellie started Tuesday-Thursday school at our church called SuperKids. We were a little nervous how our shy little girl would do, but we were pleasently surprised at how well she did! Every time we ask her about "school" her face lights up! She liked it enough to go back on Thursday without a fuss. Here are pictures we took before and after her first day at SuperKids.

The last days of summer

From San Fran to San Diego

We had such a wonderful week in California!! We flew into San Jose to spend a couple of days in the San Francisco area with T.J.'s sister Tina. We then drove down the coast to Santa Cruz and spent an evening with a good friend of T.J.'s from dental school. From there we went to Monterey where we took Ellie to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. We again enjoyed the drive along the coast through Santa Barbara and Malibu on our way to Laguna. We spent a night in Laguna Hills, had a little time in Laguna Beach and then made it to our final stop, San Diego. While in San Diego we met up with one of T.J.'s friends from Rockwall, made it to a Padres game, and watched T.J. walk across the stage to become a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. It was a fun and exciting trip, especially with a 2 year old!!
