A year ago yesterday we found out we were going to become parents. There was no way to understand the immeasureable joy that this preciouls little gift was going to bring to our lives. We are truly thankful the Lord blessed our lives with a beautiful and healthy little girl. Ellie is now 4 1/2 months old! She weighs 11lbs 3oz and is 24in long. She is sleeping consistently through the night 9-10hrs in her own room.We are excited to start her on rice cereal this week and some veggies in a few weeks! She is smiley and giggly and tries to sit up on her own. She hasn't quite reached the rolling stage yet, but with a little more effort on tummy time she will be rolling in no time! What an awesome blessing parenthood is! Below is one of my new favorite pictures taken by T.J. of Ellie in Bible class at church.

We celebrated my grandmother's 80th birthday a day early on Saturday, Aug. 29th. Happy Birthday Gramsy!!
For Gramsy's birthday present Hollie came over and took some pictures of Cy and Ellie .. can't believe how much they've grown! Cy is now 3mo and Ellie is 4 1/2mo. Hollie did a great job with the pictures. Thanks Hollie! 
Ellie's first time in her new ucky bathtub. She liked the first time but seems a little scared in it now. Oh well .. we'll give it another try again soon.

On the weekend of August 8th we went to Dallas for Tim & Lindsey Dyll's wedding. It was a beautiful wedding at Royal Lane Baptist Church. We then went to the Belo Mansion downtown for the reception. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Dyll!!!The Best Man - and the Best Daddy too!!!

Wow, July has been a great month! Ellie is just growing like a weed and has hit many new milestones .. she is now smiling, cooing, laughing a little, sleeping in her own room (so we are attempting, needs a little more work) and has now hit a "hefty" 10lbs!! Our lives have been blessed immensely by our precious little girl. She is such a good baby! Below are several pictures taken throughout the month we would like to share.
