Big Girl Bed

First night in her "big girl" bed!! We'll see how it goes:) Ellie was excited and crawled right up in the bed and laid down! Thanks so much, daddy, for converting the crib to a toddler bed tonight even though you got home so late. You are the best!!

Today was Ellie's first day of gymnastics!! She LOVED it! She got to stretch, jump on several trampolines, play in a sponge pit, swing way up high in a harness, and "tumble". She was excited about the butterfly stamp on her foot at the end of class for a job well done and the popsickle from her teacher before we left! I was impressed with her teacher and the parent and me tumble class at Ready Set Go!

Swimming Lessons

I'm a little late on this post! Ellie and I did the mommy and me swimming class at the Tech Rec Pool again at the beginning of June. Ellie loves the water, but would rather be doing her own thing than following the swim teacher's instructions. She had tons of fun on the last day of class when daddy got to join us for free play!

It's Potty Time

Potty training in 1 day? No way! 2 days? Don't think so. 3 days? I'll have to tell you tomorrow! We are on day 2 of this patience building experience and here's what we've had so far: 3 Capri Suns, 3 suckers, 3 snack packages of M&M's, and 3 successful uses of the potty .. successful potty training? Not sure. Maybe I'll know better what I'm doing next time I potty train!
